There are some types of transactions that you can’t use your Monese card to pay for (and we may need to block your card if you do). These are:

Dating and escort services, including advertising services

Quasi cash services

Cryptocurrency traders like Bitcoin trading platforms

POI funding transactions

Massage parlours
Besides the above, there are also other exceptions.
In some places, you won’t be able to pay directly at a petrol pump machine. Instead, you’ll need to take your card straight to the cashier to pay for your petrol.
The same applies to some airlines that don't accept debit card payments mid-flight, so be sure to withdraw some cash if you think you’ll need to spend money mid-air.
