So that we send your card to the right place, there are two ways that we can verify your address.
Validating your geolocation
We’ll ask you to give us access to your geolocation while you’re using the Monese app. Once you allow this, we can use it to verify your address.
Validating your debit card order activation
If you order a physical debit card from us, we can verify your address once you activate it.
If you’re not at your registered address when we run our geolocation checks, you can re-run them as soon as you’re at home. To do that, just choose the ‘Can’t wait for my card to arrive’ option after ordering your physical card.
In some countries, you'll need to top up your account with enough money to cover the card delivery fee before we can send you a card.
If you top up with a debit card, there might be a minimum amount you need to top up by. If so, we'll add the rest to your account (minus the card delivery fee), which means you’ll be ready to start spending as soon as your card arrives.
Once you’ve verified your address, you’ll have full access to your account.
