The RIB is a French bank document that details the coordinates of your bank branch and account.
This RIB is part of your 27 digit IBAN that can be found in the app under Account details.
Your IBAN is composed of:
- The 2 first characters are letters, which correspond to the country code of your bank account - FR for France.
- The second 2 characters are numbers, which correspond to a control key.
- The next 23 digits form your RIB (Relevé d'Identité Bancaire). More specifically, out of these 23 digits, the 5 first are your Bank code (code banque), the 5 next are your Branch code (code guichet), the 11 next are your Bank account number and the last 2 are known as your RIB key (clé RIB).
