For security reasons all card payments are blocked when the card PIN is entered incorrectly 3 times. This is to safeguard your funds in case you lose your card and someone tries to use it without your authorisation. This block affects all payments, including online use and contactless payments.
Your card becomes usable again, with the correct PIN, automatically after 00:00 midnight (UK time) of the day it was blocked. You can always check your card PIN in the Monese application on your phone.
As this kind of block happens physically on your card, the Monese support team can not lift the block remotely, you will have to wait until midnight for the card to become usable again.
