Who can open a Joint Account?

You can open a Monese joint account with someone as long as each of you has a GBP or EUR currency account with us. Customers in the UK can't open a joint account with EEA-based customers and vice versa.

You can only have one joint account, so pick your person wisely!

To apply for a joint account, follow these steps:

1. Open your Monese app and add your new joint account by tapping the Account button on the top left-hand side of the home screen

2. Select Add account and choose Joint account option 

3. Pick the person you want to open a joint account with

4. Answer a few short questions and hit Submit.

We’ll then keep you updated about your application right through the app.

Note: right now you can’t open a joint account if you live in France, or a joint account in the RON currency. We’re working on making these available soon.
