How do I authorise online transactions with 3D Secure?

3D Secure is a service that helps protect you while shopping online. When you buy something, the service will send a notification to your Monese app, asking you to log in and approve the payment within the next 5 minutes. This makes sure that only you can complete the transaction.

You can shop at any online stores with your Monese account, but keep in mind that this service won’t show up every time you shop online, only on some occasions.

Approving the payment is simple:

• A pop-up box will appear with our Monese logo displayed, asking you to approve the payment
• You’ll receive a notification from your Monese app to approve the payment
• Log in to your app and tap to approve the payment
• Your transaction will go through!

To keep this service running smoothly, make sure you have the latest version of the Monese app and a stable internet connection on your mobile phone.
