How do I top up my account with a debit card?

It’s easy to top up your account instantly by using one of your other debit cards issued by Visa or Mastercard. Here’s how:

• Open the Monese app on your phone

• From the Home menu, choose Add money followed by Instant top-up

• Enter your other debit card details (card number, CVV, expiry date)

• Choose the amount and tap Top up

• After that you’ll see the confirmation screen

You can have up to 3 different debit cards linked to your Monese account, but all of these cards must be in your name. Right now, you can’t top up with a credit card.

Our debit card top-ups are free if you're on the Classic or Premium plan. For Simple plan users, there's a 1% fee.

Remember that any foreign exchange will be done by the issuer of the debit card used.
